At the end of last month, during one of the series of seminars on the labour market and workplace diversity, together with the Bulgarian Association for People Management, we talked about “How does HR contribute to workplace diversity?”.
Nearly 50 people participated in the online discussion on 24 June. And the main focus of the discussion fell on employee loyalty, which in turn is based on the intersection between the values of the employees themselves and those of the company. Participants and speakers shared that in the process of seeking diversity in the workplace, we must trust in respect and a culture of inclusion – so every employee will feel their contribution to the company and this will strengthen their loyalty.
For their part, companies are increasingly looking for diversity in their teams because the development of any company nowadays requires it – through diversity, much greater creativity is achieved, new ideas and processes are added and developed, and the overall result is the success of the company.
Special guest speakers at the seminar were Branimira Neshovska, Head of HR for Bulgaria, Hungary and Croatia, HP Inc and Snezhana Dineva, Senior Recruitment Specialist at Sensata, who made the discussion practically oriented by sharing concrete examples from their experience in their companies – programs, initiatives, projects promoting diversity in teams and inclusion of all employees.
The seminar is part of a series of online events in which we will have the opportunity to discuss, exchange experiences and share successful practices throughout 2021. Our guest speakers are Bulgarian and international experts, with whom together we are looking for workable solutions on current HR topics. The seminar series is organized in partnership with Earning by Learning project of Trust for Social Achievement.
