The holding of networking events and the exchange of ideas for attracting and retaining staff were some of the topics discussed at meetings with leading companies in Sliven, including Plastform 2004, Jodi – 1 Ltd, Retal Balkan Ltd and the First Steps for Professional Development project team.
Training and human resource development are key areas for economic growth in Sliven and the district. Maintaining motivation, high performance and quality among employees are just some of the challenges for which private companies are looking for flexible solutions.
As part of the project, TSA envisages providing opportunities for young people aged 15-29 to improve their skills and readiness for inclusion in the labour market, as well as to visit local companies and enterprises to learn about the working environment in real conditions.
Earning by Learning project is implemented by the Trust for Social Archievment Foundation, with the support of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism, which includes contributions from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to promote sustainable and quality employment, and reduce social and economic inequalities among young people in Europe, aiming to contribute to a green, competitive and inclusive Europe.
