Training “A new generation of children – values ​​and generational characteristics”

On July 5, 2019, Sofia- On the values ​​and characteristics of young people from the so-called generations of Zet and Alpha we talked today with our colleagues from the Vocational High School for Textiles and Leather Products – Sofia, who are our partners in the project “First Steps for Professional Development”.

In the training “The New Generation of Children – Values ​​and Generational Characteristics”, led by the psychologist and project mentor, Mladen Vladimirov, was focused on changing the communication channels and how this affects the socialization, intellectualization and emotionality of young people.

A social profile of the contemporary student was presented and recommendations were given to improve pedagogical interaction. A module related to cyberbullying and ICT violence was presented at the end of the training. Advice and information resources were provided to develop preventative lessons on the topic and outline concrete steps for violence and harassment interventions in the virtual world.

The First Steps for Professional Development project No 2017-1-027 was funded by the donor countries – Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, within the framework of the Youth Employment Fund under the EEA Financial Mechanism and Norway Grants (EEA and Norway Grants).  The main goals are to improve the educational status and support the access of young people from vulnerable groups to the labor market in the Republic of Bulgaria, thus contributing to improving their economic independence and professional realization. #EEANorwayGrants
